High School Voice Studio Divison

The high school division of my voice studio is uniquely designed to support singers during one of the most complex and transformative periods of vocal development. The teenage voice is not only growing—it is evolving rapidly in coordination, range, registration, and stamina. From as early as 14 through the mid-to-late 20s, singers experience ongoing physical and technical changes that can dramatically affect how the voice sounds and feels. This stage requires careful, informed guidance to build healthy technique without forcing the instrument, while also helping students adapt to constant shifts in their vocal identity. At the same time, teens are navigating significant personal growth, developing their artistic voice, confidence, and individuality as performers.

In addition to these internal changes, high school singers face some of the highest external demands of their training. Many are actively preparing for Solo & Ensemble assessments, All-State Choir auditions, college auditions, and roles in high school or community theater productions—all of which require versatility, consistency, and strong foundational technique. I specialize in working with this age group, providing targeted, developmentally appropriate training that meets students where they are while preparing them for the next level. As a certified vendor with Osceola County School District and Orange County Public Schools, I partner with local high schools to offer weekly private voice lessons during the school day, increasing accessibility for students who may not otherwise have access to individualized training. I also teach teen students from my home studio and regularly contribute to school music programs by judging pre-MPA concerts, as well as leading masterclasses and workshops during choir classes to support vocal development on a broader scale.
