Madison's Vocal Journey
A lifelong lover of singing, Madison has dedicated her career to the learning, performance, and teaching of healthy singing and classical voice technique. Madison was born and raised in Houston Texas. Here she started private voice lessons at a young age and later was selected as a member of the Houston Grand Opera High School Voice Studio. Later, she attended Boston University for a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance and University of Tennessee Knoxville For a Master's in Voice Performance. She has worked with and learned from multiple great teachers across the country from which she has a breadth of knowledge from multiple ideologies of teaching. Madison's own vocal growth journey was a challenging one that included overcoming many physical tensions, which has left her all the more prepared to guide her students through their own obstacles. A high coloratura soprano, Madison has performed iconic operatic roles such as The Queen of The Night in The Magic Flute and performed in theaters such as The Tennessee Theater, The Bijou, and Boston Symphony Hall. She started teaching private voice during her Master's studies, waiting until she felt truly prepared to take on the responsibility of the care and guidance of voices. She fell in love with teaching in her first lesson and has never stopped!
