Whether you're a seasoned theater artist or just starting, Mackey Studio's Theme Park Boot Camp is designed to help you build the skills, confidence, and movement techniques you need to succeed in high-level auditions.
Master Character Movement and Acting
Theme park characters are magical, energetic, and often larger than life. If you’ve never trained in this style, the unique movements can feel awkward, or even frustrating. In this boot camp, you'll learn how to embody these animated characters with ease, gaining control over your body and mastering those exaggerated movements. You’ll train with Madison Mackey, a professional performer, director, and movement coach with years of experience in both acting and opera. She has played characters from wacky animals, to princesses, and evil queens. Together, we’ll help you build confidence in quick improvisation and spontaneous physicality, eliminating that "what do I do with my hands?" feeling.

How It Works
Our bi-weekly group classes allow you to sign up as you go, with no long-term commitment. You’ll work alongside fellow aspiring performers in a supportive, judgment-free environment—perfect for experimenting with new movements, acting ideas, and building lasting friendships. This community will be there for you as you prepare for your big audition day!
In addition to movement and acting, I’ll guide you through anti-anxiety techniques to help you stay calm and present during auditions, ensuring you feel confident being yourself when the spotlight hits.
