Meet Madison
Madison Mackey is a professional soprano, stage director, and voice teacher with bachelor's and master's degrees in Vocal Performance from Boston University and the University of Tennessee.
As an active professional singer and director, Madison brings the skills and expectations of the professional rehearsal room into each voice lesson while meeting every student at their individual level.
Her teaching combines healthy vocal technique and pedagogy with musicianship, movement, acting, and performance coaching to help singers develop a voice they can rely on and an artistic identity that is uniquely their own.
Madison has extensive experience teaching children and teens, including singers navigating the important vocal changes that happen throughout adolescence. She also works with adult and professional singers across musical theatre, classical, opera, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles.
What I loved about working with Madison is that she allowed me to be fully myself on stage. I am a ham by nature and NEVER had to water down the character at any point to gain her attention or approval. I very much appreciated the clear, concise, and encouraging direction she gave at all times. 10/10 would work with her again.
